Our pricing data sources
Most pricing sites ask you to trust an average with no source attached. This page is the opposite of that: every range we use to grade a quote is listed below with its origin, the date we last checked it, and a confidence label. It is generated directly from the same data file the tool reads, so it cannot drift out of sync with what the grader actually uses.

Label figures
Application rates come from federal pesticide labels. These are legal documents, not opinions — which is why they carry our highest confidence.

Termidor SC Termiticide/Insecticide
high confidenceEPA Reg. No. 7969-210
Apply 4 gallons of finished dilution (0.06%, 0.09% or 0.125%) per 10 linear feet per foot of depth, by trenching and rodding into the trench or trenching alone.
Trench must be at least 6 inches deep, or to the bottom of the footing; need not be wider than 6 inches. Finished dilution must be mixed into the soil as it is replaced.
Figures we do not use yet (0)
These are numbers we have seen but have not tied to a source we can link. The tool will not grade a line against them. They are listed here because a site that claims to show its working should also show what it threw out.
Nothing in the holding pen right now.
How we handle being wrong
In September 2026 we carried a trenching figure roughly three times higher than every source we could find. Left in place, it would have told homeowners that an inflated quote was reasonable — the exact opposite of this site's purpose. We corrected it, and the correction is recorded rather than quietly overwritten. If you can show a figure here is wrong, we would rather hear it than not.
